Principal Financial Group Technical Lead interview questions

I got call from consultancy and opening was for technical lead and I did not have experience as lead still my resume go shortlisted. My interview was scheduled on Saturday. first round was MCQ test related to Java and then there was designing test. After both was these rounds were cleared, they took technical interview. It was pretty decent. I was asked related to java, hibernate, webservices. Technical got cleared and before manager round HR discussion happened with some common questions related to project role and strength, weakness. After the discussion HR mentioned that as I dont have any experience in leading they can't process further. Then why do they do not scan resume properly while shortlisting a candidate.

Consists of written round of objective types 20 questions on jav. Then one highlevel diagram for EFT(Electronic Fund Transfer). Then they have F2F round. In which they mostly ask to brief on the high level flow you have drawn. They need the UML diagram for the flow.
