Such a long process, they seemed confused about how to interview. 2 phone screens, 1 take-home, and a 3-hour live coding challenge amounted to nothing. Pretty much a waste of time.

Interview
The random cypher test requires visiting multiple endpoints, each of which returns a different endpoint path. This process is confusing and lacks clarity. This approach is not only frustrating but also ineffective for identifying potential candidates.

Interview
Do yourself a favor and don't waste time interviewing at this company.
It's obvious they have high priority roles to fill but won't do anything to speed up the hiring process. Lack of interviewing experience (even for people with years of experience), very apparent by the way the conversations were going. I was apprehensive as the reviews of the company seemed really negative but I had a good time talking with some of the folks to then find a huge red flag to convince me that this isn't a place anyone should consider seeing themselves at.
It's obvious they think they are incredibly smart but do you really need that over the head engineers with a product like pulley. Only a political mess with ensue when you create culture that way.

Interview
Inconsiderate company that has no respect for candidates time and can only be viewed as an indication that this is an awful to place to work.
Initially I looked at the coding assignment as fun, but I think anyone who creates a test like this to screen out candidates is looking for people who won't complain about unrealistic expectations of the work involved. Who else would complete this without talking to anyone from the company?
