      HR Operations Interview

      Application

I applied online. I interviewed at Pulley

      Interview

I didn't make it far in the process. Only went through the first interview via phone with the recruiter. It went very well (in my opinion) and I can usually tell when it does or doesn't. We get to the end of the interview and talk through next steps of the process. I am then asked for my expected salary. Which I provided and was told "that should be in the pay range". I received a follow up email a couple days later, around that time she told me she would follow up and was told they were not moving forward. Today I see another HR role listed for "HR generalist" at Pulley with the exact same JD as the role I interviewed for. However, when I applied under qualifications it had 5+ years of HR Ops experience, In this newly listed position it now has 2+ years with the salary listed extremely low. So this company took the initial role WITH ALL OF THE SAME JOB DUTIES changed the required experience needed and is now trying to get a new hire in there so that they can pay them less. Word of advice if applying at this company,..make sure you fully review the job description and understand everything you will be required to do. Don’t allow yourself to be deceived into accepting a job that demands significantly more work than what you’re compensated for. Unfortunately, this company seems to be doing just that, especially with this particular role. The requirements and job responsibilities appear to be better suited for someone with greater experience and a significantly higher salary.
