I applied through college or university. I interviewed at PwC (San Francisco, CA)
Interview
The interview process was very straightforward and I was kept informed along the way. Everyone that I met was very intelligent, funny and ambitious, which reflects very well on the company. I would say PwC has some of the best people. They are changing some of their interview practices in order to align more with their company values, such as asking questions regarding technical aptitude, global perspective, etc. but if you are interested in accounting nothing should come as a surprise. I received an offer on the day of my 2nd round interview, but declined because accounting was not my #1 career choice.
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at PwC (Hartford, CT) in Feb 2015
Interview
Applied by submitting my resume as a student. Got an email from the recruiter next day with an application link to apply for a position in my city of preference. First interview was a phone interview. I heard back from them within 2 weeks for a second round interview at the office. I was interviewed by partners, managers and senior associates. The interview was vary laid back, especially with the partner. Make sure you have questions for all the interviewers. Prepare to know about the company. It would be great if you give real life examples from your work experience.
