I applied through college or university. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at PwC in Mar 2010
Interview
Usually meet with three people for hour long interviews each at varying levels (managers, senior managers, partners), and you may also meet with staff who will show you around the office. They tend to have one interviewer who may be slightly more technical, and one who is more behavioral. Partners are generally very relaxed and don't ask specific questions, but more general questions like "So talk to me about..." One partner just went through my resume from top to bottom and just asked me to tell her about each of items.
Mostly behavior questions. The interview started with "Tell me something about you." Make sure to do some research before the interview. Prepare answers like what is your strength, what is your weakness. What is your career plan within 5 years, do you have any plan to take the CPA exams.
The initial screening was very pleasant but the interview was an absolute stress interview. I bombed. Not because of the questions but rather because the interviewer didn't believe my answers. An awkward experience.
