I applied through college or university. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at RSM (Boston, MA) in Oct 2015
Interview
First on campus, then a few in office. Very straight forward interviews. They mostly want to know that you are a person they can work with for 12+ hours a day.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Basic public accounting questions. Why accounting, how's your CPA going, why tax etc.
I applied through college or university. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at RSM in Mar 2019
Interview
I had two interviews and both were very kind and was more of a conversation rather than an interview. My first interviewer, we talked about her experience in her field and I asked questions regarding her career path and she gladly answered. She only asked me one interview question towards the end.
I had my second interview with a partner and was also more like a conversation rather than an interview. He asked me questions about my resume and we went on from there. These interviews are for them to gauge your personality and they genuinely want to get to know you.

Question 1
What was a conflict you had during school/work and how did you resolve it?
I applied through college or university. I interviewed at RSM (College Park, MD)
Interview
Was given notice that I received an on-campus interview. However, since the interviews only happened on a day that I was going to be out-of-town, I reached out asking if there was any possibility of rescheduling. A recruiter responded yes and asked for my available times. I replied within a day with my available times and stated a willingness to drive to the office for an in-person interview. No response. Two days later, I sent a follow-up email. A week later I sent a second follow-up email. Still no response. By then the on-campus interviews had happened almost two weeks ago, and I gave up hope for an interview.
