Initial interview, very basic and probably easy for someone with any sort of formal education with Linux command line. The interviewer was very courteous, which made my utter inability to pass the initial interview that much more frustrating. Remember: if working with something becomes reflexive in day-to-day work, you may be unable to answer basic questions about it, similar to how a native speaker of a language doesn't think about the grammatical rules underpinning his or her sentences.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Having worked in a very specific Linux shop for awhile, I couldn't answer basic questions in this interview without having a terminal in front of me. Think for a second before passing on any questions, or you will feel like an idiot.
I applied in-person. I interviewed at Rackspace Technology in Feb 2012
Interview
The process was very welcoming and positive until the team/leads/members interviewed me. I found it a hostile and very dismissive experience. The team members berated, debated and questioned knowledge as if there was no way they could be wrong. After doing linux systems admin and engineering for over 10 years I left and never looking back. I was offered 3 possible jobs, but who would want to work in a hostile environment like that
Interview questions [2]
Question 1
Explain why someone would want to use SKIM neutral signatures instead of strict.
I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Rackspace Technology (Londres, Inglaterra)
Interview
The offer was in a job board, applyed... 2 weeks later i was reached by email. I had a phone interview with the recruiter, with some general questions. All very polite and clear, then setted up a more technical interview.
In this one the questions were more technical, with basic to harder questions.
The last one was a face to face interview. I did not had the necessary experience. Overall, the process was very professional with nice persons.

Question 1
The face to face interview is a practical test, where you have to do some tasks in Linux, more specific in Apache and general services.
