I applied online. I interviewed at Rivian in Feb 2020
Interview
Spoke to a person currently in the role I was applying for. Interviewer spent a few minutes talking about his background before asking me to talk through mine. Interviewer seemed new to the interview process and didn’t seem prepared or engaged. I expanded on my skill set and knowledge in the next 15 minutes. Received rejection email next morning.
I applied in-person. The process took 6 weeks. I interviewed at Rivian (Irvine, KY) in Jan 2020
Interview
Smooth, Streamlined with nice HR who responds in time(might very small delay due to lot of new candidates processing).
Technical rounds were also impressive. Rather than forcing on specific position, I felt they tried to interview me their several open positions across the US and set me up in best suitable place.
