I applied online. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at Roche (Basilea) in Sep 2015
Interview
First call with a member of the team, we discussed my expertise in Excel plus past and relevant experiences in the field. Few tricky questions to see if I was prepared on Roche business. Then four more calls with other members of the team, hiring managers and the HR team. All calls were about my past experiences and my expectations for the future. No difficult questions but for sure you need to be prepared and to think about how Roche run its operations. Few weeks after the last interview they got back to me and fix a new call. I was not hired, but a member of the team spent about half an hour to give me a feedback. The whole process was indeed overlong but on the other hand you feel like they really care about the job and to see if you are a good fit. The feedback call is a very remarkable feature of the process as very few firms would go that far in taking care of its unwanted candidates.
