Interview
A recruiter reached out to schedule time for a phone screen. I had to follow up with the recruiter for a phone screen to be scheduled after providing my availability. The recruiter did not call me at the scheduled time and sent a note to call the next day. The recruiter called 8 minutes late the next day and was not familiar with the scope of the role. When I asked clarifying questions regarding what was the scope of the role, the recruiter became combative in their answers and asked me what part of my question was not clear from the description they gave me. I proceeded to an interview with the hiring manager who called 5 minutes late and mentioned they would be interviewing me for another role, and that the role I applied to was for alternative candidates for this other role. Overall, a confusing and disrespectful process.

I was asked many questions, some of which did not really make sense. I felt like everyone was asking from the same question deck. The people were very friendly and the surroundings were nice.

Self recorded video answering computer prompted questions. It's difficult to try and focus on answering the question while also watching yourself in the video to continue to try and look professional.
