I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Sage (Newcastle, England) in Aug 2020
Interview
I applied online and sent a copy of my CV. Very soon after I received a link to answer some questions in a text format. Soon after submitting these I was invited to a 'recorded interview', where I spoke into my webcam to answer questions. This was quickly followed by an invitation to a remote assessment centre.
(This was all remote, from home, due to the pandemic) The assessment centre consisted of a presentation about each of the roles they were hiring for, an overview of the company and a very welcoming group of interviewers/recruiters. This was followed by a group task, unrelated to the position, to see how we would work within a team. Finally we were given individual interviews, by a recruiting staff member, specialist staff member, and member of last year's graduate programme (who didn't ask questions but who was there to answer any questions that we may have had).
The whole team was very welcoming, very engaging and truly lovely and, whilst it is difficult to enjoy an interview in the strictest sense, this was the closest I came to having fun in an interview. (Except the recorded interviews, those were terrifying and I won't be sad if I never have to do one again).
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Standard interview questions, and questions about my CV. There was also a short presentation which we had to prepare in advance.
Spoke with sales ops manager about previous duties and what I can bring to the open position. Do I understand the position has about 90% manually entry. How well I work as a team.

Question 1
Am I willing to work overtime and working as a team is what makes the company succeed. Also the manually data entry doesn’t bother as much.

Interview
Applied to BrightPearl online and received a response for an initial phone interview a few days later, which took place about a week later.
The interviewer was late to the interview, so it didn't start at the scheduled time. At one point I didn't think it was going to happen.
The conversation was alright. The interviewer was just seeing if I could pass their personality test first.
The interview didn't really have anything to do with the position and when I would ask questions regarding the position, I was met with, "I'm not too sure, that would have to be something discussed with the hiring manager." *Word to the wise, if you're interviewing candidates for a position, you should know about the position and be able to answer questions.*
Anyways, I wasn't selected for a second interview a few days later. They sent me an automated email, saying that I didn't get it and they didn't provide any feedback.
Overall, it was very disingenuous.
