I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Scotiabank (Toronto, ON) in Dec 2017
Interview
- I was emailed the wrong floor, waited 15-20 minutes for someone to find me at the front desk, which had the Scotiabank sign laying dismantled on the floor - a sign of things to come.
- Got placed in a cubicle to wait another 15-20 minutes, in what looked like an office that was ravaged by a war. Eventually the manager walked over and asked if I had my resume because he lost it and can't find it in email.
- Manager asked me about my background; 10-15 seconds into my answer interrupted me to ask about an application that they use. I answered, his phone rang, and he said that he had to go, pointing me out to his team lead and told him to "ask this guy some good questions".
- Departed the interview after thanking the team lead for his time. I wouldn't want to work for his manager,
