I applied online. I interviewed at Scotiabank (Winnipeg, MB) in Oct 2021
Interview
The first interview you get is a phone interview and if the recruiter finds you worthy, he will fix a date for a Microsoft Teams interview. On the phone interview, I was asked why I wanted to work for them. In the Microsoft interview, I was asked the same question, asked about my experience, asked about my strengths and weaknesses, and asked to describe a difficult situation at work I found myself in and how I overcame it.

The process started with 2 interviewinterviews, the first interview wa one on one with recruiter. It was easy going about 30 minutes. 2nd interview was with 2 people, it was structured and not too difficult. I was told they'd get back to me and let me know then never heard back again. Had to find out through the career porter I wasn't selected. The people seemed nice enough but a company who doesn't let a candidate know the outcome after interviews in my opinion is unprofessional and is a bad look on how they probably treat their employees

I applied online. I interviewed at Scotiabank (Hamilton, ON) in Dec 2025
Interview
Very casual, a couple questions regarding past work experience. They basically wanted to see how you engage in conversation. It was the branch manager as well as the assistant manager. They made you feel comfortable though, it wasn’t interrogation or made you feel it that way
