I applied through college or university. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Scotiabank (Toronto, ON) in Oct 2010
Interview
The interview started with the interviewer giving a brief overview of Scotiabank followed by some basic personality questions such as strengths, weaknesses, etc. Afterwards, he asked about past work experience and why I want to work for Scotiabank. The last part of the interview is through the phone where I answer technical questions.

I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Scotiabank (Toronto, ON) in Feb 2018
Interview
The first on-site interview consists of two 30-minute sessions: 1) answering technical questions from three of the team members, and 2) answering technical questions from the manager. Because of the relatively short time that was allocated for these interviews, questions were also mostly concept and behavioural based.
The second round was with the director, and this time the emphasis was on the role and the team's responsibility.
