4 rounds took more than one month, first with HR, then a test, after that 2 rounds with managers and colleagues. Change interview time in last minutes. HR was nice.
I applied online, HR emailed a few days later to schedule a quick 10 mins phone interview. 30 mins face-to-face interview to get to know more about myself and my past experiences.
I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Shopee (Singapur)
Interview
I think there were at least 3 rounds but I only made it till the 2nd. First was a 30-minute chat session with 2 HR managers where they'll ask your background, experience etc. It was held via Zoom and no faces had to be shown. Pretty standard interview.
Once you made it pass the second round, you'll have a one-hour video interview with the Department Manager. For this, you'll be given more situational questions and be given the chance to talk about your experiences and goals moving forward.
Overall the interviews went pretty ok, the atmosphere was pretty comfortable and the people I've spoken to via email and Zoom were mostly nice. However, the interval between each interview was pretty long due to schedule conflicts. Also, I only found out I was rejected after sending the HR a chaser email but it's cool because they will give feedback if you ask for it.

The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Shopee in May 2022
Interview
It was a PR writing test followed by 2 rounds of interview. The interviews were conducted virtually. I was offered the role, signed the contract but Shopee rescinded the offer about 1 month later. They offered to pay 1 month’s salary if you’ve already resigned. The explanation given was that the CEO did some restructuring and asked to cut the headcount of those who have yet to come onboard. HR tried to find another role in the company but went silent after 1 interview. Sure, Shopee can do this since the offer is not legally-binding but this just leaves such a bad taste that they have lost not just as a potential employee but a customer. And it also shows how badly the company is communicating across levels and I wonder how much longer they can continue to do this without running out of candidates to attract.
