Shopee Software Engineer interview questions

I applied shopee through an employee referral. Initially, there was a coding round scheduled by the HR. (1 Easy, 1 Medium level coding problems had been asked) After which there were 4 F2F interviews scheduled (one each in a week) 1st Interview - HR round Majorly asked about my interests and tested my willingness to join if I get selected 2nd, 3rd - Technical Interview These interviews were taken by senior software engineers and Majorly covered Coding knowledge, OS, DBMS, Design. 4th Interview - Tech Lead Round They mainly focussed on my basic knowledge related to the position that I had applied and after which I was asked a design problem to solve Finally Offer Received, The total process was smooth and a great experience me being a fresh grad

The platform Glider.ai they use for online coding assessment is terrible. 1. Glider.ai's face detection algorithm demonstrates what is artificial ignorance at best. I understand the platform wants to record candidates to prevent cheating. However, whenever you make a little natural movement, like moving a little bit closer to the screen or looking down to think, or whatever little movement you tend to do when thinking, it will 'flag' you as cheating. Much of your time for the online assessment will be spent trying to figure out why you are flagged. 2. The platform does not allow you to practice with their console. So don't be surprised that most of your time will be spent familiarizing with their console and how they work with different input and output.
