Interview
Everything until the Assessment Centre was ok. But after the AC things just sort of went south.
Firstly, there were full of grammar and spelling mistakes in the case study during AC. Things like "I look forward to hear from you" make you wonder if this is really a big company. Then you don't get a feedback on time after AC that was promised multiple times from their side. When you finally get one much later than the promised time, it turns out to be an automatic rejection email sent out by the middle of the night, without any feedbacks, without any valid reasons.
This program claims that to ensure fairness, the requirements in the job description have to be fulfilled. You fulfilled every requirement perfectly, but when you look at the background of some candidates that were in the AC with you, you wonder how they can even get into AC without relationships because according to the company´s own claims, these kind of candidates are not even qualified. Before there were rumours that you have to have the so-called Vitamin-B to get into this program, I did not believe it. Now I think I have to.
All big companies would give you detailed feedbacks after the AC, no matter whether or not you got in. You spent so much time and effort and went so far, good companies know to appreciate that. If they reject you, they need to justify why. But Siemens does not, it just sends you an automatic email. You thought you did a good job in the AC, then you got rejected without any reasons. I think it is clear how they choose people, it does not matter if you have the perfect qualifications, it does not matter if you did a good job in the AC, all that matters is if you know people there. The company doesn't even dare to tell you why you got rejected.
You can figure it out yourself who got in in the end.
