I applied through a staffing agency. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Siemens (Pune) in Feb 2017
Interview
The interview process was very slow. My interview was scheduled at 11.30 am. First was an aptitude round of 45 minutes. After clearing aptitude by 12:30 pm there was lunch organized by the company at 1 pm. The technical face to face discussion took place at 5.30 pm. After clearing it the next technical discussion took place at 6.30 pm. The second interviewer asked some puzzles and coding questions related to data structures which I answered very well and explained it in detail but interviewer was not convinced. After spending the whole day I was said that I could leave for the day at 8.30 pm. It was a negative experience.

Interview
It was a pathetic interview process. Reporting time was 8.30 a.m , but the HR himself reported after 1 hour i.e 9.30 a.m. The entire office is highly secured, even washroom access area also required Siemens badge to be displayed. Coming to the employees and the HR, everything was so unprofessional, they used their native language Marathi to communicate. I had given interviews at numerous companies in Pune, but never saw such discrimination, HR are meant to be polite and soft spoken, I could hardly find the HR smiling or showing positivity. Coming to the interview, there was a 45 minutes online test followed by technical discussion, I was highly surprised to see the technical interviewer asking the very first question to me was what's the name of your college, where are you from basically..? I mean why does an interviewer has to judge me on the basis of my hometown or why would that bother him so much that I belonged to which place. Honestly speaking I already had 3 offers in hand, but due to Siemens' reputation I had gone to give interview and the level of difficulty of the questions and the types of questions were exactly the same as asked to me in other companies' interview. But there was definitely some attitude problem of the interviewer, some sort of superiority complex that he was a Marathi, that even after myself getting satisfied with the types of answers given , he was not convinced and rejected me. Anyone going to Siemens, kindly note be ready to face unprofessionalism and attitude issues
