The first interview with the recruiter was delightful. Very engaging and dynamic, relevant, and more in depth than just a phone screen. Very accommodating for multiple time zones.
The second interview with the hiring manager was pretty terrible. She was very focused on trying to trick me into a corner and very stand offish. It felt like she had her mind made up on a candidate but was going through the motions. My experience for this position was well above and beyond the minimum requirements and my industry experience (including with huge companies and start ups in senior roles) was extensive and yet she seemed insistent on asking negative leading questions to things that weren't relevant. It was bizarre and then she abruptly ended it and left it to the recruiter for follow up. Her demeanor for someone responsible for customer experience and support was just the worst. My impressions of the product and company are still very high, but of the people and their process for interviewing and treating candidates was pretty terrible. Highly disrespectful.
