Although I did not make it to the initial it was nice to see a prompt and kind response from the slack team. They were informative as to what rules might be available for the future. It’s really cool and you see a company put time into even telling someone no for now.

Interview
Applied online, few days after I received an email with assignment. STAR based answer. Not sure what the next steps are as I did not pass that stage. I received 2 email after, one stating that my experience don't match the position and few days after another generic message to try again in the future.

4.Listening to customer feedback is a key component of working in Customer Experience at Slack.
There was a 12 hour open coding challenge and then a series of interviews with engineering managers and recruiters. Most were behavioral and were really manageable. The coding challenge was puzzle like questions and one of the interviews asked about them after.
