I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Slack
Interview
There was an initial phone call, an online assignment, a more in-depth phone interview, and then an in person interview (about 3 hours with 3 or 4 different people). Overall, I found the process so seamless. They kept in touch with me every step of the way, so I never felt like I was out of the loop, or they forgot about me.

I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Slack (New York, NY) in Jan 2019
Interview
Brief intro call with a recruiter; introduction call with manager; chronological interview with multiple managers; in-person presentation with multiple managers. My process took multiple months due to difficulty scheduling the final round in-person interview around holidays, but I always heard back very quickly after each step in the process.
