SoftServe Senior Robotics Engineer interview questions

Four rounds: one intro + C++, Python, and a 2-hour robotics crucifixion. Sailed through C++ and Python even though the questions were 90 % data-eng/ML/networking trivia that had nothing to do with robots. Then the final round decided that five years of building autonomous mobile robots from scratch isn’t enough if you if you’ve “only” shipped production Kalman filters and never personally wrote a particle filter or touched CUDA (neither of which were in the job description, naturally). Requirements apparently updated in real time during the interview. If you’re not a walking encyclopedia of every possible algorithm implementation ever published, save yourself the afternoon. Apparently they’re not hiring senior robotics engineers — they’re holding auditions for the Second Coming of Robotics Jesus. Bring your miracles
