I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Starbucks (West Linn, OR) in Nov 2013
Interview
Interacted with the manager of the branch, was personable, answered about 5-10 questions in all and asked at least two questions. All was done in the store I was to be hired on for. Was given a free drink while there, as is customary. Provided a second copy of my resume and dressed to impress. Copied the manager's body language to make him feel more engaged.
I applied online. I interviewed at Starbucks (Wilmington, DE)
Interview
Applied online! Received an email from a recruiter asking for a phone interview. Scheduled a phone interview with a random recruiter from Starbucks HR! She came to the conclusion that I was not qualified for the position! Based on what facts I'm not sure! I am sure that I am more than qualified. Their loss!

Question 1
Nothing that could possibly allow you to see the real person!
I applied in-person. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at Starbucks (Helena, MT) in Feb 2011
Interview
After becoming a shift supervisor, I was constantly being interviewed. I was sent to different locations to develop myself and experience other store managers. It was more about performance than hosting a formal sit down interview. That did not happen for me. I was consistently out in different challenging situations where based on my performance, I was promoted.

Question 1
I was not ever asked any questions, it was based on achieving results and my relationships with partners.
