I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Tableau Software in Oct 2017
Interview
Went through many rounds of interviews. Complete radio silence after last round of interview with the stakeholders. The person whose team I will be working closely with was arrogant. Not a smile during the interview nor acknowledgement after I sent a thank-you email. Asked him about the culture and why he enjoys working for the company but his replies put me off as he said he has no qualms about escalating issues up with management (instead of telling me how supportive or open the culture is ) and how protective and how well liked he is by his team. I'm so glad I'm not pursuing this role anymore. Being a supportive leader is good on the other hand you are telling your candidate you are "protecting" your own people instead of being fair and just and you are someone who does not resolve issues among co workers and likes to escalate upwards!

Interview
Typical phone interview with recruiter. Came in person for one on one interviews with six from the team. About what you would expect question wise. I was impressed with the professionalism of all that I met. Seems like genuinely nice people - HARD workers! Impressed with the company in general.

1. Phone interview with recruiter, 2. Phone interview with manager, 3. In-person loop of 5 people (2 manager, 3 peers)
