I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Target (Knoxville, TN) in Aug 2012
Interview
After applying online they called me to setup an interview. I set my appointment at 12:00 It took them 30 minutes until the actual interview began. They than took me into a room in their offices and asked me a series of questions. There were a lot of essay questions, highly unnecessary for such a trivial job. I got an email a week later saying I didn't get the job. They will pay everyone 7.25 an hour and there is no negotiating. Seems like a very corporalt place to work that does not care about their employees, after several testimonials from current employees.

Interview
Got a call a few hours after completing app to set up interview and availability
Interviewed with two different people both asked similar questions. But I was able to use same answers. Offered job at end of second interview then I was taken to a different room where background, drug test and pay was discussed. You only have 24 hours to complete drug test and you have to go to a separate location to do so

Question 1
Name a time when you worked on a team and what was the outcome
I applied online. The process took 6 months. I interviewed at Target (Delray Beach, FL) in Apr 2011
Interview
The process that target uses quickly discourages applicants as they watch some applicants go through an entire interview process and some get turned away. This is a very agressive approach either you make it or you don't.
