I applied in-person. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Target (Portland, OR) in Nov 2011
Interview
It was pretty standard. They asked for your experience, what you think your strengths are and what you think your weaknesses are. I got called for the interview the day after I applied for the fourth time. I had been applying for three months before that. I was interviewed for a seasonal position. I made it clear I intended to work for the company after seasonal ended and I ended up being one of the people kept on. I found the office organized and the interviewer to be kind and to know what they were looking for in an employee.
I applied online. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Target (Tampa, FL) in Dec 2010
Interview
I applied, the I got a phone call to come in. I had my interview with a GE (Guest Experience) ETL who was first starting out herself. The interview was pretty easy and short, the interviewer was much more nervous than I am so I had no problem (plus the phone kept ringing.) At the end of the interview she told me that I had the job.
I then came another day for the orientation and that was it.

I applied in-person. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Target in Jul 2010
Interview
It was very easy. I met with one supervisor and he asked me basic questions. I knew I got the job when he started discussing salary with me and asked if that is good to start with. Then I was called in for an orientation with a couple of other people.
