I applied through college or university. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Target (Dallas, TX) in May 2010
Interview
I first interviewed for this job on campus but was sent an email a week later saying they were going with someonelse. About a month later I recieved an email from a store manager that liked my resume and interview answers. He arraged for me to interview with a district manager. On this day I was interviwed by three different people then sent to the regional office for a final interview. All questions were behavioral type and often asked you to give examples.

I applied through college or university. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Target in Feb 2011
Interview
There were four people scheduled at once, each interviewing with a different manager. The recruiter was very nice and friendly, however, the manager I happened to interview with was not the best. She wasn't very personable. She arrived late, didn't introduce herself and did not ask me if I had any questions at the end of the interview. I am sure the other interviewers were not like this, and I just happen to have gotten unlucky.
Other than that, the recruiter the rest of the team seems extremely friendly. Interview was behavioral based and they get back to you very quickly.
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Target in Feb 2011
Interview
I met the recruiter at a career fair and was offered an initial interview. After the initial interview, I received an email congratulating me on making it to the next round of interviews. This round was going to be taking place at the actual Target store. Here I had a tour of the store as well as interviewing with the regional manager. Three days later, I received a phone call with an offer. Throughout the entire process they were very friendly and communicated clearly.
