Very easy and quick. The interview questions weren’t too hard. More situational questions, “describe a time when…” kind of questions. The interview wasn’t difficult to say the least. If you can answer in a STAR format then everything should be good.

Describe a time you had to deal with a difficult customer or associate?
I did an online interview followed by a phone call, which were both went pretty smoothly compared to most interviews I have done. The questions in the video interview are the usual interview questions, and the phone call were mostly confirming my hiring.
I was first interviewed by team lead then the store’s manager. They asked situational questions that were very easy to answer. Then they made a hiring decision right on the spot.

I applied online. The process took 5 days. I interviewed at Target in Sep 2025
Interview
I did a virtual interview on HireVue and then was called in for a follow up a few days later, in person. The virtual interview was easy and you could re-record your answers up to 3 times.
