I applied through college or university. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Target (Ann Arbor, MI) in Nov 2015
Interview
30-minute conversation with marketing manager. She was friendly but also seemed a bit rushed. Interview consisted of scripted questions off of a sheet. Basic behavioral/fit questions as well as questions about successful marketing campaigns seen in the past. Pretty standard marketing interview. There was a dinner the day before.
It was very redundant and the interviewers were uninterested. I did not feel as though the interviewers were very knowledgeable about the company and it felt like they were just going through the motions.
I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Target in Oct 2014
Interview
Began networking with the company the spring before fall interviews took place for a summer internship the following summer. Applied online and had a 30 minute interview via Skype although typically done in person. There were only a few behavioral questions and time for me to ask questions. Was supposed to hear back 2 weeks later but didn't hear back for over a month.
