I applied online. I interviewed at Target (Nashville, TN) in Dec 2013
Interview
Starts with a call from HR to verify info and set up an interview time. Interviews are very situational and attitude based. I went through three interviews. The first was with an executive team leader. She asked generic questions. Afterwards, she told me she was going to go see if I could go ahead with the next interview. About 10 or 15 minutes after waiting, the Store Team Leader came in and interviewed me alongside the District Team Leader. They liked my answers and personality so I was set up for a final interview with the DTL and HR Business Partner days days later. I aced that interview in about 30 minutes and was then offered the position the next day.
I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at Target (Los Angeles, CA) in Mar 2013
Interview
Easy and simple questions. Regarding the STAR method. Situational based questions. They are probing if you used leadership characteristics to solve the situations that are given. Two people interview you, might also include an additional interview with the district manager.

Question 1
Tell me a time you had to work out an disagreement with a co-worker.
I applied through other source. I interviewed at Target (Oklahoma City, OK) in May 2017
Interview
Asking you to recall a time something didn't work out with a guest, what was the situation, what did you do, and what was the result. Mostly difficult for the fact you must think of a past situation on the spot in all the questions.
bogus process ...they would hire someone who hasn't been there that long over the people who've been there for years who have gone above and beyond.
