I applied in-person. The process took 3 days. I interviewed at Target (Minneapolis, MN) in Aug 2009
Interview
When I was preparing for the team leader interview I had several rounds of mock interviews with team leaders and executive team leaders. This process was somewhat daunting, as everyone had different advice for the interview process. When I had my interview it was completed in one day by three different people. They each had a different part of the interview packet, and individual questions for me.

I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Target in Apr 2013
Interview
I applied online and received a phone call shortly afterwards. It was an informal phone interview asking questions to see if I could possibly be a fit for what they were looking for. She then told me that I would have a follow up interview with a manager from one of the stores. After the 2nd phone interview, I was set up with a store interview. A video was shown on teamwork. Once my interview started, he asked me what I learned from the video and also asked many situational questions. He was also trying to see where I might fit into the Target world. I did get set up with a second interview the following week.
