I applied through college or university. I interviewed at Target (Brooklyn Park, MN) in Nov 2016
Interview
Super easy, seems formal but is more of a conversation with some upper management. Just be easy to talk to and show that you have a great personality and you will likely get an offer. Though I suspect that they will increase the difficulty over the years.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1

I applied through other source. I interviewed at Target (Minneapolis, MN)
Interview
Started with a standard phone screening with HR, followed by an online technical assessment on HackerRank. After the assessment, there was an on-site tour that consisted of two, very similar, short interviews about technical related experiences and a few behavioral questions. No difficult algorithm questions but depending on who your interviewer is, you may have a technical question/problem mixed in. After that, the rest of the day consisted of tours, lunch and other meetings with software developers.
I applied through college or university. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Target in Feb 2017
Interview
I was invited to my first on-campus interview the day after talking to Target at the career fair at my college which consisted of behavioral questions followed by a hackerrank assignment of about 7-8 questions. Headquarter interview was a full day interview which consisted of an Info session, then broke up into interviews (2 x30min w/ break in-between) with lead engineers (questions are depend on your interviewer) , lunch QA panel with current TLP members, tour of HQ, and tour of Minneapolis. No algorithm sort of questions. More behavioral and technical oriented questions.
