I applied online. I interviewed at Tesco (Bangor, Northern Ireland)
Interview
Applied online, received a phone call to arrange interview time and date. The interview lasted 30 minutes, with one person asking questions while the other writes. Typical situational questions. Got a phone call if successful.
I applied in-person. I interviewed at Tesco in Feb 2022
Interview
The interview process is straight forward and easy. Just talk and listen and you’re guaranteed the job the minute you walk in the door. It’s usually just basic questions that you’ll be going through in your head before you get there
I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Tesco (Ryde, England) in Jul 2021
Interview
When applying online as an 18 year old, the shifts denoted were for earlier starts (6 AM) and I was more than happy to do this, so I applied online and get the call, interview, and everything seemed great. They seemed eager to take me on, but then in the interview with the store manager he abruptly said he could not offer me those shifts shown online, and that he only had thursday, friday, saturday, sunday night shifts (10 PM start). The lack of transparency was appalling and the manager had a rude manner. And so I declined them, as it was not what I was expecting and I was put on the spot about taking these shifts. They even continued to act annoyed that I did decline and just overall was rude, I particularly think it was because I was younger and he thought he could act improper.
