Interview
A short talk with a member of the management team asking me about how my previous experiences made a suitable candidate for the job. They took into account what university I was applying for at the time even though it was still very early in the school year.

I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Tesco (Cork) in Aug 2019
Interview
Applied for the job in Mahon Point on a Saturday, received a call on Monday for an interview Tuesday. Very casual interview with a very friendly manager. Went through my CV piece by piece, asking me questions about each part. Areas such as skills, education and interest were very important. The interviewer was very chatty, and was keen to get to know me. He joked a couple of times about different topics of interest to me. The interview lasted maximum 25 minutes, including the description of the job role, discussion regarding flexibility and pay. I was told I would receive a call if successful, and an email if un-successful. I received a phone call 4 days later, offering me the job. I accepted. Overall an excellent process, with very little difficulty.
