I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Tesco in Oct 2017
Interview
I submitted my application on Friday, had a phone call on Monday to have an interview on Wednesday and received a job offer by Friday!
It was all straight forward and friendly. It was a group interview but they put everyone at ease and if an answer didn't quite fit the criteria they were looking for they prompted and asked for more information.

Interview
I applied for a Nights role and was told to attend the interview at 10:30. It was a group interview, 5 of us in total. We had to fill in some sheets about availability and bank account details. Then we were given an task where we had to make the tallest tower with paper and cellotape in 15 minutes whilst they observed us. Then we were given another task where we were given a budget of £100,000 and had to decide what to improve in the store. Afterwards, we had a go on the till for about 10 minutes, and the interview was finished. However, I was told on the day that I had to come back at 10pm (as I applied for a nights role). I came back at 10pm and had to stack shelves for about an hour. After all that, I didn't get the job in the end, but overall wasn't a bad process.
