I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Tesco (Croydon, England) in Mar 2019
Interview
Made me feel welcome and comfortable and made sure I had refreshments if needed. Calmed my initial nerves. This was my first interview so other than practice. Friendly interviewers and clear and not misleadingly questions. Could see they were listening to me. Were good at describing the job role.

Question 1
How have you handled a difficult situation in the past and what was the outcome?
Brilliant very professional and slick from the start. Phone then FaceTime to face , found it very soon after I had been successful. Everyone made me feel at ease. Manager seemed really happy to work there which helped me.
The Tesco interview process usually includes an online application, short phone or video screening, then an in-person interview with customer service questions, availability discussion, teamwork scenarios, and sometimes simple role-based assessments.
