Interview
The line manager takes you into the interview room and ask you some basic competency questions. Very easy-going and not high pressure, more like a chat. Then they ask you to fill out what days and hours you can work.

I applied online. I interviewed at Tesco (Welwyn Garden City, Inglaterra) in Jan 2026
Interview
I only received a first stage interview. It was a teams based call with a handful of job specific questions and a handful of questions based on Tesco values.
Questions included:
Can you tell us a time where you showed how you "stayed curious", such as where you learnt a new thing about yourself?
Can you tell us where you see the biggest opportunity and challenge for the sector you are applying for?
What made you want to apply for this role?
What are the main performance measurements that a farmer in your sector would look at?
Can you tell us about a project you worked on and any challenges you faced and if looking back what would you do differently?
Tell us a time you have went out of your comfort zone?
Can't remember the rest of the questions but it ended with them giving you the opportunity to ask any questions.

Interview
First, you have a phone interview where they ask “tell me about a time when…” type questions. If you’re successful, you’re then invited to a FaceTime-style video call, where they ask scenario-based questions like “what would you do in this situation?” along with some basic questions about yourself , always say you want to put the customer’s experience before anything. Around two days later, they call to let you know if you’ve been offered the job, and if successful, they email you your contract. Overall, the process is quite easy and very supportive.
