Tesco Mobile jobs don't come up that often and usually appear on the careers website, You send in your C.V. and application online. I am told by someone in Tesco that you are assigned points which go to your overall score, these depend on you application. I am also told that the Tesco Mobile roles is a cushy one, with no hard sell, and it's very difficult to get a hired because most/all Mobile positions are taken by people already working in store.

Simple online form advertised from in store, rapidly followed by an easy group assessment in store, followed shortly by telephone call. They were looking for genuine, friendly, helpful people who would work hard and not complain. Looking for teamwork and some measured leadership qualities. It is important to be confident and speak up to sell yourself, but do not try to exclude others. They appeared to favour an inclusive atmosphere of cooperation.

Smile lots and you should be fine! Also make sure that you are polite as they are essentially testing how well you could interact with customers.
