Interview
The initial application process was straightforward. I submitted my resume through the company’s website, and I received an acknowledgment email within a few hours. A few days later, I was contacted via email to schedule an interview, which was quick and efficient. Overall, I felt that the application process was smooth and transparent.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
asked how to communicate with customers and team members to gauge my interpersonal skills.
An okay experience, but I felt it was very rigid with the questions. Said I had a high chance of getting the job, but then I never heard back. Overall, not a bad experience and easy to plan for but slow communication afterwards.
I applied through other source. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Tesco (Leeds, England) in Jun 2025
Interview
We talked about my previous retail experience and how I’ve handled busy shifts, helping customers, and working as part of a team. They asked a few scenario-based questions, like how I’d deal with a difficult customer or what I’d do if I noticed a shelf was empty. I gave examples from my last job where I stayed calm under pressure and kept things running smoothly.
