The interview process includes resume screening, two rounds of interviews, and a final discussion to assess fit, skills, and overall alignment with the role, followed by a decision and offer communication if selected.
I applied through a staffing agency. The process took 6 days. I interviewed at Tesla (Atlanta, GA) in Dec 2023
Interview
It was pretty difficult but with God almighty I was able to bomb it. Thank you for letting me interview with you. It was a pleasure and I'm sure you had pleasure as well.
I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Tesla in Aug 2017
Interview
The Tesla recruiter reached me via LinkedIn without my request or application. I had very positive experience from initial phone screening, she asked couple questions about experience and background and described in details hiring process, focusing that they have a high demand for SDETs knowing Python. At the end she sent me a link on position description (there again Python was mentioned as the first required skill) and asked for customized resume.
Then weird part began. I sent resume and had no response during two weeks. Just for curiosity I e-mailed about feedback and in couple of hours she replied, that my skills are great and we will proceed. After one more week she sent me a link to two coding assignments at codility.com. I finished them with 100% grade from system, but didn't have any answer from company for another week or two. Then they scheduled phone interview with somebody from hiring team. During interview they didn't propose to use any shared online code editor, but asked coding questions related to JavaScript and SQL.
After this stage I didn't receive any feedback or answer on my e-mail.
