I applied through college or university. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Texas Instruments in Jun 2010
Interview
basics of semiconductor(diode, mosfet, bjt devices), network theory(mainly RC circuits), opamp, basics of any programming language, basic of digital logic, also a different panel asked basics of RF signals, there written paper also contents some very basics of power and energy consume by different passive elements.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
RF fundamentals (about signal reflection and terminations)
fundamental circuit intuition, problem-solving skills, and deep understanding of device physics rather than just rote memorization of equations. You will be expected to think out loud, draw waveforms, and analyze small-signal
Online Assessment followed by 2 rounds of technical interviews. Online Assessment consisted of 3 parts - Analog, Digital and Aptitude. Analog part mostly consisted of questions from RC circuits, Opamps, MOS Circuits, Oscillators.
I interviewed at Texas Instruments (Bangalore Rural)
Interview
I am only having only one round of interview
Where they asked mostly about rc circuits. Op amp basics and mosfet questions.
The interview almost happened for 1 hour and it is a good experience
