I applied online. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at The Home Depot in Feb 2010
Interview
This is really for a cashier position.
Simply be prepared to list ways in which you've provided great customer service, at previous jobs or volunteer position. Let them know you will put the customer "first" and that you work better as a team.
It took a week to hear back after the online application.
In my case, It was my first job so I used the time I sold candy for a school program as a reference for service.

Question 1
What would make your customer service better than any other cashier we hire?
20-minute interview, asked scenario-based questions and experiences with customer service. The interview had a video call component and an in-person interview. The interview had questions about comfort with learning new programs and asked about availability.
it was short and it was simple very quick and they hired me on the spot probably due to needing people and being short staffed, but the staff was nice and polite they did also send me an email before hand to schedule my interview
