I applied online. I interviewed at The Home Depot (Buford, GA) in Jun 2012
Interview
If your application is flagged for possible work, you get an automated phone call and answer a few questions. If the automated questions are answered correctly, you are then connected to a person at a call center. They will ask you questions more pertinent to the specific position they are considering you for. If you then answer those questions correctly, they will tell you what they are considering you for, what the probable pay is, and what the probabl hours are. They will then tell you that a specific store (gives name) will be contacting you. You are contacted by management at that store. They will conduct a preliminary interview. They will read questions from a page, and write your answers down. They are not allowed to deviate from those questions. The Assistant Managers and the Store Manger will meet over the applications and then decide on who they want to hire. If they are 100% on hiring you, they will call you back one more time to offer you the job and have you come in to get your drug screen paperwork.

Question 1
What is a time you went above and beyond to provide exceptional service
just a conversation with the HR team, asked the basic questions and nothing to stressful. they made the process very easy and the interview was actually truely with only one single person
5 minutes not even an interview just acceptance. I walked in and they said when can you start and if I can submit to a drug test and background check I said yes and left.

Interview
The interview process was a friendly and professional experience overall. The managers are nice and accommodating to students at least at this location as I was a current student at Oregon state university and needed to work around a college schedule.
