First interview was with the hiring manager, who was really down to earth and easy to talk to. That being said, there was an overt promise of transparency that I don't think was fully met on their end.
Scheduling the second interview - or getting information to do so - felt like pulling teeth. I finally got on their calendar 5 weeks later where I was asked to complete a 3-part writing and research assignment. When it came to the 90-minute interview, I couldn't help but feel as though the interviewee (a high-level exec) felt as though I was worth their time. A lot of my presentation was rushed through ("pick two of these five ideas you came up with to talk about") and it just felt like perhaps my interview was doomed from the beginning.
After that, it took another three weeks to find out the went with someone else. Overall, a 2.5 month process that required a lot of following-up on my end and not a lot of communication on theirs.
