Fall/Spring After School: Simple one on one about why you'd like to work with the Y (mention a love of children) and a few different "what would you do" scenario questions asked. After school care interviews tend to be simpler because the work is simpler. Summer: Interviews were group, photos were scattered on a table and we had to pick one that represented something about us as a person. Afterwards, we were asked questions about certain scenarios. You could tell the point of it was to make sure (politely) that your point was heard and thoughtful. We also played a game (to show that we were "fun-loving"). Most interviews for the summer will go like this at YMCA's across the country.
