I applied online. I interviewed at The Y (YMCA) (New York, NY) in Feb 2022
Interview
Group other interviewee’s attending the interview were very late. I had to wait I was surprised they were allowed to interview anyway. Group interview was kind of awkward because people kept coming in late.
Lots of questions about who I am, why I want to work with children and my past experience. Answered my questions about time off and what I would be doing every day.
I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at The Y (YMCA) (Saint Paul, MN) in Jan 2021
Interview
Phone call scheduled 2 weeks in advance, casual conversation with some structured questions. Energetic and upbeat tone! I enjoyed the time and I felt supported throughout the process. The interviewer was very understanding with some technical difficulties on my end.
