The interview process was very prompt. I was contacted by a recruiter and asked to choose a day for the interview. The interview took place one week later via Microsoft Teams. There were many behavioral and situational. I’d recommend using the Star Method to answer these types of questions. It seemed like the Y wanted to hear about very specific examples; based on my personal experiences, where I had worked with children. I had to provide examples of how I handled challenging situations and dealt with conflict resolution.

They asked a lot of situational questions (ie what would you do if...). The interviews either tend to be one or two people conducting the interview. The steps before the interview are more time consuming than the interview itself.

Interview
The manager reached out to me, and I was given both a phone call and a Zoom meeting. The conversations were very easy-going, and my previous experience was respected as part of the hiring process. There was no mock personal training session required; I have experience with this elsewhere, and felt it was artificial, so I was happy that it was not required.
