Interview
The whole process was smooth. There was a phone interview and questions included various situational questions. After a couple of weeks, they provided various dates for a face to face interview. Interview was conducted by a panel and questions included a standard list of situational questions. The interviewers were polite and they were clear their questions they ask. After another couple of weeks, they called to provide an outcome.
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at The Y (YMCA) (Jennersville, PA) in Apr 2013
Interview
When I went into interview, there had apparently been miscommunication within management. The employee who was supposed to interview me thought I had cancelled and had went home for the day after I traveled an hour to get there. Afterward on the phone, she was very apologetic. We did the interview over the phone instead. Typical behavioral questions. Lots of questions about managing a group of people, and also teaching/instructing experience.
