Interview
The interivew took place at the branch with the Exec, a few co-workers (other directors) a board member and a volunteer. It was fairly intense for a job paying that low. You took turns going into 4 different rooms and being questioned.
I applied in-person. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at The Y (YMCA) (Indianapolis, IN) in Aug 2010
Interview
Online via Kronos HRMS. Phone screen. One-to-one interview. Panel interview for director level positions. Process moves very slow. Hiring done a center level by hiring manager who is overworked with little time to spare. Pay scale does not match job expectations. The most qualified candidates remove themselves for this reason. Starter job for most.
