Interview
I had a skype interview with one of their staff in late April 2017. I only completed the initial interview. The interviewer asked me why I had applied to ThoughtWorks . After I answered that question she informed me that they have just one project on at the moment and it was to convert C# to Scala. I was surprised as Scala was not on the skill sets mentioned. I was also informed that they want people who want to be available to change their skill sets continuously. I said I had to have a think about it - as I know very little about scala. That's where the call ended. The interviewer seemed a bit defensive - perhaps she had gotten negative feedback from others.
The interview consists of two rounds and takes about a month. It mainly asks about the understanding of the business and the ability to cooperate with others, and also includes some assessment of personal technical abilities
I was referred into Thoughtworks Bengaluru. After a basic HR screen, a PM grilled me on BA-style scenarios. After that, I prepped a two-day case study to roleplay a consultant.
